The day Panettiere died, reports say both Brian Hickerson and his brother Zach were present at the scene. Zach told TMZ they’d tried to wake Hayden for lunch and discovered her unresponsive. He explained that he immediately phoned for help, Brian administered Narcan, and both brothers performed CPR with emergency services guiding them over the phone, while watching rescue workers ‘try every measure possible’ once they arrived.
Despite their attempts, Vogel says publicly that she believes Hickerson bears some responsibility for what happened to her daughter.
