About Craig Ellison

Craig Ellison has been writing about entertainment for nearly a decade — from college newspapers to major film publications. His work focuses on adult animation (Futurama, Solar Opposites), video game adaptations (Castlevania: Nocturne), dark fantasy (Jujutsu Kaisen, Daemons of the Shadow Realm), and horror (Mike Flanagan, John Carpenter's The Thing, and anything A24 touches).

Before shifting fully into entertainment, Craig spent over six years as a baseball writer, publishing weekly articles across multiple outlets. That sports background gave him an unusual but useful skill: he treats streaming rankings, IMDb scores, and release schedules like a box score — with healthy skepticism and a soft spot for the underdog.

Craig got his start in student journalism at Illinois Valley Community College (writing for The IV Leader) before transferring to Eureka College on the Stephen W. Rigazio scholarship. At Eureka, he wrote for The Pegasus, covering everything from campus happenings to politics — including the 2020 election and Palestine. He graduated summa cum laude with a Bachelor's in Communication.
