Season 2 isn’t out yet — Netflix already renewed a popular show for season 3

It's not every day Netflix goes all-in for a series before the next batch of episodes are even out, but here we are—The Gentlemen, the spin-off from Guy Ritchie's 2019 film, has landed itself a third season order while fans are still waiting for Season 2. If you're into stylish crime capers and Brit grit with a bit of an attitude problem, you'll already know what all the fuss is about.

The Gentlemen Season 2 will hit Netflix on 3 September 2026.

Third Season, Greenlit Early

Netflix clearly has faith in the show. Production on Season 3 is already a go, even though scripts aren't wrapped up yet and cameras haven't started rolling. Variety says we're getting eight episodes next run—same as always, so no nasty surprises on that front. Theo James (as Eddie Horniman) and Kaya Scodelario (Susie Glass) are set to return, and if Netflix's announcement is anything to go by, the chaos is only going to escalate. The show remains a proper Guy Ritchie affair, with the man himself still calling the shots as creator, co-writer, executive producer, and director.

Ritchie spoke about the show’s ballooning ambition, leading into what's next:

The ambition of ‘The Gentlemen’ has accelerated, the world has expanded, and the consequences carry weight. A third season felt inevitable, and I’m looking forward to pushing the boundaries of it further.

Season 2: Chaos Incoming

Meanwhile, Season 2 is nearly upon us. Netflix have dropped a trailer that confirms the mess isn't letting up, with Eddie and Susie moving their "business" overseas. This time they're upgrading to the lakeside villas of Italy (very on-brand for Ritchie), but as usual, someone is in way over their head. Eddie continues his entrepreneurial climb—he’s now eyeing the British establishment as much as the dodgy underworld, and apparently the higher you get, the nastier the aristocrats become.

The new season will see the return of a good chunk of the Season 1 cast, including Ray Winstone, Joely Richardson, Daniel Ings, Jasmine Blackborow, Vinnie Jones (who else?), Giancarlo Esposito, Michael Vu, Ruby Sear, Pearce Quigley, and Harry Goodwins. Some new faces arrive as well: Benjamin Clementine, Benedetta Porcaroli, Amra Mallassi, Tyler Conti, Chris Eubank Jr, and Maya Jama all sign on for Season 2. Ritchie isn’t stepping back either—he’s on board to direct again, working with co-writer Matthew Read.

In the Season 2 trailer, Eddie gets a motivational speech from an American billionaire, Stanley Johnston, who reckons he's destined for the top—never a good omen in these sorts of stories. Of course, with all that ambition comes a fair amount of fallout. Expect the suits, swagger and trouble to escalate accordingly.
