According to the court complaint, the founders apparently made all sorts of claims about having deals lined up with massive banks—JP Morgan and Fidelity are named—in addition to promising $5 million in upcoming ad revenue. That piece also alleged there was tension between Gomez and her mum, with Selena supposedly trying to step away from the company over it all. For her part, Mandy Teefey hasn’t let the allegations go unanswered.
