May’s Must-Watch: Stream Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham in Wrath of Man Free on Tubi
Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham’s Certified Fresh action-crime thriller Wrath of Man storms onto Tubi with free streaming in May 2026.
Guy Ritchie and Jason Statham’s long-running bromance is still paying off — and their 2021 adrenaline shot of an action flick, 'Wrath of Man', is about to pop up (again) in a place everyone loves: free streaming.
'Wrath of Man' Goes Free (Again) — This Time on Tubi
If you missed it when it blasted onto Prime Video, or if you just can’t get enough Statham scowl, here’s your chance to catch 'Wrath of Man' for exactly zero dollars. Starting May 1, the movie lands on Tubi, where it’ll hang out (with ads, obviously) until the end of May. Tubi’s habit is to keep stuff for about a month, so expect it to vanish around June 1, if you’re a procrastinator.
Quick Recap: What Is 'Wrath of Man' Anyway?
This isn’t Ritchie and Statham’s first rodeo — they’re the duo behind 'Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels' and 'Snatch' (two classics that basically defined UK crime movies for a generation), plus the more recent (and way more expensive-looking) 'Operation Fortune: Ruse de Guerre'. But 'Wrath of Man' sits firmly in their wheelhouse: a grim, twisty revenge thriller that gives Statham what he does best — lots of glare, a not-much-backstory mystery, and no shortage of punch-heavy showdowns.
This time, Statham plays Patrick Hill, a guy who signs on as a cash truck guard. Of course, it’s not that simple — it never is — and soon enough Patrick is knee-deep in an underworld mess, with his loyalties and motives in question the entire time. Think armored car heists, lots of suspicious glances, and every crook in LA suddenly very interested in this one new hire.
How Did It Do? (Pretty Well, Actually)
- Released: 2021 (yes, in the middle of the Covid mayhem)
- Budget: $40 million
- Global Box Office: $103 million — not bad for pandemic times
- Critics on Rotten Tomatoes: 68% (which is basically high praise for a meat-and-potatoes Statham action flick)
- Audience Score on RT: A very juicy 90% — which, for Ritchie and Statham, is as universal a fan thumbs-up as you’ll get
People seemed to love the suspense and the fact that Statham, as one user helpfully wrote, was 'more intense than usual.' Guess you can still surprise folks after all these years if you punch hard enough.
"It kept you in suspense and totally throws you off guard." — RT user
Will We Get More Ritchie & Statham Team-Ups?
They’re not done working together — just probably not this year. Up next for the pairing is something called 'Viva La Madness', a new crime flick Ritchie’s co-writing with J.J. Connolly (the guy behind 'Layer Cake'). But that’s still somewhere in development limbo, and both stars have about a million other things to juggle first.
Where’s everyone right now?
Jason Statham is neck-deep in four movies:
- 'Mutiny': He’s defending a cargo ship from pirates. (Trailer just dropped — feels like 'Die Hard', but on a boat.)
- 'The Beekeeper 2': Because apparently you can’t keep a good beekeeper down.
- 'Fast Forever': More big cars, presumably.
- 'Jason Statham Stole My Bike': Yes, that’s the real title, and no, I don’t know what to make of it either.
Guy Ritchie is even busier:
- New seasons of 'MobLand' (with Tom Hardy) and Netflix’s 'The Gentlemen'.
- Directing a new crime movie, 'Wife and Dog'.
- Something only titled 'Drinking with Saddam'.
- Planning a sequel to his mega-budget live-action 'Aladdin'.
Bottom Line
'Wrath of Man' slides back onto streaming for free starting May 1 on Tubi. If tough guys, clever double-crosses, or Statham’s permanent five o'clock shadow are your thing, it’s probably worth the (ad-supported) rewatch or first-time dive. Plus, it’s always fun seeing these two keep the old-school action-thriller flame alive.
