Last Chance: Jacqueline Fernandez’s R-Rated Movie Is Leaving Netflix Soon
Stream it while you can: Jacqueline Fernandez and Jean-Claude Van Damme’s R-rated actioner Kill 'Em All 2 leaves Netflix in June, co-starring Maria Conchita Alonso and Nicholas Van Varenberg.
If you’re that rare person who’s been meaning to watch Kill 'Em All 2—yep, the R-rated action flick where Jean-Claude Van Damme teams up with Bollywood star Jacqueline Fernandez—you’ve got just a few days left before it vanishes from Netflix. Blink and you’ll miss it.
Clock’s Ticking: When’s It Leaving?
Kill 'Em All 2 is set to exit Netflix on June 25. So unless you’re planning a last-minute Van Damme marathon, you’ll want to get to it soon. This is straight from the people at What’s On Netflix, who keep obsessive tabs on what's rotating off.
What’s the Deal with This Movie?
If you missed all the (very subtle) headlines about it: Kill 'Em All 2 is actually a direct-to-digital sequel to a 2017 Van Damme movie you probably never saw, either. It came out on streaming in September 2024, then hit DVD the month after—a real prestige rollout, obviously. Sony produced it, and they also put out the official trailer, which lays out the plot pretty clearly.
The whole thing is set seven years after the events of the first movie. Van Damme returns as Phillip, who’s apparently been laying low with his long-lost daughter Vanessa, played by Fernandez. Predictably, trouble from the past shows up to ruin their family reunion, and the two end up on the run. If you’re thinking, "this sounds vaguely familiar," you’re not alone.
Who Else Is in This?
- Jean-Claude Van Damme – back doing what he does (kicking and scowling)
- Jacqueline Fernandez – making her Hollywood debut as Vanessa
- Maria Conchita Alonso
- Peter Stormare
- Nicholas Van Varenberg – yes, Van Damme’s real son
Some Behind-the-Scenes Bits
The movie was directed by Valeri Milev and written by James Agnew. What makes this one a little odd: most of it was shot in Antigua, so at least the scenery’s nice, if you get bored by the plot. And yes, Jacqueline Fernandez took this opportunity to drag her parents to the Caribbean for her “Hollywood debut,” and she told Times of India:
"My parents came down, and they were like, ‘We love our daughter. She made us proud.’ Life came full circle. At moments like this, you feel it was all worth it, the struggle, the challenges, everything."
(Which is sweet. Not something you hear about in most Van Damme flicks.)
What Else Is Leaving Netflix?
June’s not being kind to recent releases—It Ends with Us (the Blake Lively/Justin Baldoni melodrama) is packing its bags too, along with all three Night at the Museum movies. So get your comfort rewatches in now.
