Netflix is reuniting the gang: the streamer has set Grown Ups 3 in motion, confirming Adam Sandler’s return as Lenny Feder and teasing a comeback for the core ensemble. It’s the latest chapter in Sandler’s long-running Netflix partnership, with confirmed cast and potential surprises already lining up.

Well, it finally happened: Netflix is diving back into the 'ridiculous childhood buddies, now middle-aged' sandbox with Grown Ups 3. In some ways, not that big a shock—they love their Adam Sandler content like nobody else. But for those keeping score at home, we've now hit the trilogy mark for a Sandler buddy comedy about, let's be honest, not much more than old friends and chaotic family outings.

Who's Actually Back?

Netflix dropped the big news last Wednesday: all the main faces are returning for another round. That means Adam Sandler is back as Lenny Feder, the one-time Hollywood agent you might remember from the original film back in 2010. And naturally, he's bringing his entire crew with him (the contracts must be legendary at this point).

  • Adam Sandler as Lenny Feder
  • David Spade as Marcus Higgins
  • Rob Schneider as Rob Hilliard
  • Chris Rock as Kurt McKenzie
  • Kevin James as Eric Lamonsoff

Yep, the same group who first reunited for their basketball coach's funeral and then stuck around for small-town mischief in the sequel are all officially back in uniform.

Who Else Could Show Up?

Here’s where things get speculative—no real confirmations yet, but if you’ve watched the first two films, you know there are plenty of familiar faces who could easily waltz back onto the set. We’re talking:

Salma Hayek (as Lenny's wife, Roxanne), Maya Rudolph (Kurt's wife Deanne), and Maria Bello (Eric's wife Sally) basically anchored the rom-com side of things. Considering how central they were, it’d be weird if they didn’t return.

Then you’ve got Colin Quinn, Steve Buscemi, and Tim Meadows—who played the main crew's old rivals. Can you even do a Grown Ups reunion without these guys stirring the pot? I doubt it.

There’s also a decent chance the actors who played the original crew’s kids (Jake Goldberg, China Anne McClain, etc.) will show up—minus, heartbreakingly, Cameron Boyce, who died in 2019. If there’s a tribute, expect it to tug the heartstrings a bit.

And if you know anything about Sandler movies, his real-life family is usually sprinkled in somewhere. Expect Jackie Sandler (his wife) and their daughters, Sunny and Sadie, to at least appear in some capacity. Fun fact: they played part of the Tardio clan, one of the rival families in movie #2.

So, What Do We Actually Know?

To sum it up: the main friend group is signed and ready to shoot. Almost everyone else is in the 'very likely, but not official yet' category. And, in classic Sandler fashion, expect a lot of familiar faces popping up, even if just for a quick punchline.

There’s still no word on plot or how much the franchise will actually change this time (though if you’re expecting artistic reinvention with Grown Ups 3, you may want to manage those expectations).

'They know we’ll show up no matter how predictable the slapstick gets—sometimes you just want to watch grown men get hit in the face by dodgeballs.'

One thing’s for sure: Netflix's Sandler pipeline isn’t slowing down, and this cast clearly isn’t tired of summer camp reunions just yet.
