Full Moon has kicked off production on Buried Secrets, its third horror feature this year, unleashing a demon from long-lost catacombs.

Well, somehow, Charles Band is still at it. If you know the name, you know the man does not sleep, apparently—the guy behind the 'Puppet Master' movies and about 400 other low-budget oddities has kept his company, Full Moon, chugging along since the '70s. It’s 2024 now, but Full Moon is already hard at work filling their 2026 release calendar, because of course they are.

The Full Moon 2026 Lineup: Chosen by Fans, Made at Warp Speed

Here's a twist I actually like: Full Moon recently let the fans choose what horror B-sides should hit the assembly line next. They put a whopping 14 pitches up for vote. After what they claim was a record turnout (these folks take their trashy horror democracy seriously), Full Moon sent out an especially hyped note:

'The fans voted, and the slate is locked! Each production will be shot in either Cleveland, Los Angeles, or Italy beginning in January... Stay tuned for more! This is gonna be a wild year!'

So if you're into horror movies with the shelf life of a squirrel on Red Bull, here's what got the green light for 2026:

  • The Grim Rapper
  • Models vs. Werewolves
  • Buried Secrets
  • Robotica
  • Dungeon Dolls
  • Terror Express
  • Lost Girl’s Private Diary
  • Sirens of Seduction
  • Catacombs of Horror

There are probably fewer surprises than you'd expect—unless you count 'The Grim Rapper', which sounds like a horror musical I never asked for but will probably watch anyway.

Buried Secrets: Demon in the Catacombs (and Apparently, Jewels?)

First up in the production queue: 'Buried Secrets', which is currently filming. This one comes from director Brooks Davis (he wrangled 'The Gingerweed Man'—yes, that’s a real title), who also co-wrote the script with Neal Marshall Stevens. For anyone playing Full Moon trivia at home, Neal's used the pseudonyms Roger Barrow and Benjamin Carr in the past. Charles Band himself cooked up the original story.

The plot: a ragtag group of young treasure hunters digs into the so-called Lost Catacombs of Bomarzo, hoping to score some mythical jewels. As you probably guessed, they don’t just find gems—they wake up a demon who’d like a little blood and maybe wants a replacement roommate for his crypt. Classic stuff, but hey, that’s Full Moon’s sweet spot.

Cast-wise, you've got Hope Johansen ('Bound by My Fiances Uncle'), Veronika Vozniak ('The Mafia Princess and the New Girl'), Antonia Fuller ('Bones'), and Bella Mraz ('Professor, I’m Addicted to You'). If these titles aren’t already cult midnight movies, give it a year.

What’s Next? Killer Sex Dolls and Rogue Drones

Once 'Buried Secrets' wraps (which, given Full Moon’s pace, could be next week), the crew will jump right into 'Robotica', a thriller about a malfunctioning sex doll—which, frankly, sounds exactly like the kind of movie these folks make best.

But wait, there’s more: They’re also squeezing in a surprise project not on the fan-voted list. It’s called 'Autonomous', and if you guessed it’s about a killer drone, congratulations, you’ve met Charles Band.
