Fox sets a January 2027 premiere date for the Baywatch reboot
Stephen Amell’s 'Baywatch' reboot has staked out an early next year release — the date’s in the diary.
Well, here we go again. Dust off your red swimsuits because Baywatch is officially making its way back onto TV screens, whether you like it or not. Fox has finally given all the details, confirming the rebooted show will hit the airwaves at 9 p.m. on 6 January 2027.
Baywatch's new run kicks off on Fox at 9 p.m., 6 January 2027.
Yes, you read that right — we’re talking over a quarter century after the original Baywatch finally hung up its rescue cans for good. The OG series — with David Hasselhoff, Pamela Anderson, and a confusing number of slow-mo running scenes — first hit NBC in September 1989 and kept going (and going, and going...) for 11 seasons, right up to May 2001. Apparently, nostalgia never drowns.
No word yet on who’s donning the swimsuits this time round or if any of the classic cast are up for a paddle, but more details are supposed to be coming soon. For now, all we know is that Fox reckon we’re ready for another go.
