For folks who caught the first season earlier this year, here's the big update: 'Final Twist' is moving to Monday nights, landing at 10 p.m. ET, right after fresh episodes of both FBI and the new CIA drama. So, if your Monday night isn't already packed with agents chasing bad guys, it probably will be this fall.

This is actually a bit of a shakeup, since the show originally aired on Tuesdays—five episodes aired between January 7 and February 3. Clearly, CBS liked what they saw, but wants to give the series a real shot in prime time.

• Harlan Coben himself is executive producing, this time with his son Ben Coben (yep, it's a family affair) via their company Final Twist Productions.
• Jeff Zimbalist is back in the showrunner seat and pulling double duty as exec producer for All Rise Films.
• Stu Schreiberg holds down executive producer duties for Triage Entertainment.
• Susan Zirinsky and Terence Wrong from See It Now Studios keep their hands on the wheel, and Jess Philipps returns as executive producer, too.

It's rare to see this much continuity behind a docuseries, honestly. Not a ton of drama, but hey, at least they've got a rhythm.

The Bigger CBS Picture

'Final Twist' wasn't the only title making waves during CBS's big programming reveal. The network also announced yet another spin on the enduring NCIS franchise, plus a new project called Beyond the Gates (details are still fuzzy on that one, but consider me at least mildly curious).

Anyway, Harlan Coben, family included, seems to be settling in for the long haul. CBS clearly wants to own your Monday nights this fall, especially if you can't get enough news about people behaving badly.
