Wednesday star Emma Myers is back on the case as A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder Season 2 drops today on Netflix — all six episodes are now streaming.

Right, in case you missed the commotion, 'A Good Girl's Guide to Murder'—yes, the one starring Emma Myers from 'Wednesday'—has just dropped its second season on Netflix. As of today, the entire six-episode run is up for your bingeing pleasure.

What’s Going On in Season 2?

If you thought Pip would catch a break after unravelling the first season’s murder, think again. In the new run, she’s supposed to be patching up the chaos left behind by the Andie Bell investigation, and vowing—somewhat optimistically—not to get roped into any more cases. Naturally, that resolve goes out the window when Max Hastings’ trial is looming and Jamie, Connor’s brother, vanishes into thin air. Pip finds herself right back in the thick of it, racing to track Jamie down.

Source Material and Credits

The series is still closely following Holly Jackson’s bestselling young adult books—Season 2 adapts her 2020 novel (the second in the series, if you’re counting).

The TV version has both Jackson and Poppy Cogan not only adapting the story but also working behind the scenes as executive producers. Strong creative grip there. On the production side, you’ve got Moonage Pictures doing the heavy lifting for BBC iPlayer and BBC Three, with Netflix and ZDFneo pitching in—yes, it’s a proper British-European co-production stew.

Who’s Who This Time?

  • Emma Myers – Pip (back again and likely regretting her life choices)
  • Eden H. Davies – Jamie (the missing brother)
  • Zain Iqbal – Ravi
  • Asha Banks – Cara
  • Yali Topol Margalith – Lauren
  • Jude Morgan-Collie – Connor
  • Henry Ashton – Max (he’s on trial, if you’ve lost track)
  • Freddie England – Robin

Reception So Far

When the show launched in 2024, the first season managed to pull in an 83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Not bad at all for a British teen mystery, especially considering how crowded that space has become.

'After solving the Andie Bell case, Pip is determined to fix the fallout - and stay away from any more investigations. But as Max Hastings' trial approaches, Connor's brother Jamie suddenly disappears, and Pip finds herself in a race against time to find him.'
