Charlie Cox Teases Daredevil Swinging Into Spider-Man: Brand New Day

Case in point: rumors are swirling that Charlie Cox might bring Daredevil/Matt Murdock back into the Spider-Man universe in the new film, 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day.' And while Marvel isn’t saying a word, Cox himself just weighed in — and it’s about as clear as mud (but way more interesting).

Wait, Is Daredevil Back in Spider-Man?

Remember when Matt Murdock just sort of popped into 'Spider-Man: No Way Home' to hang out with Peter Parker and briefly steal the scene? Yeah, fans have been hoping for a sequel moment ever since. "But now that we are — having made these kind of mini-splashes with me in [Spider-Man: No Way Home], Vincent in Hawkeye and Echo, it’s on the table, it’s on the cards. It’s possible, it’s available, and Jon [Bernthal] now going into [Spider-Man: Brand New Day] as well."

Translation: Feige might actually play nice with the Netflix characters after all. And if Jon Bernthal’s name-drop didn’t catch your eye, yes, he’s set to appear in 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' too. The plot thickens—or at least gets more crowded.

Marvel Crossovers: Never Say Never

The MCU has built its whole brand around tossing characters into new projects when you least expect it. So even though there’s no official Daredevil announcement for 'Brand New Day,' this is exactly the sort of wink-nudge non-denial that makes fans (and, frankly, bloggers like me) pay extra attention.

Daredevil TV Status: Born Again, Again... and Again

If you’ve just finished 'Daredevil: Born Again' Season 2 on Disney+, don’t get too comfortable. Season 3 is already on the schedule, but you’ll need to be patient: it’s coming in March 2027. (Seriously. The MCU timeline has nothing on the real-life calendar.)
