About Amelia Hart

Amelia Hart is a film and television journalist based in Manchester. Originally from the seaside town of Morecambe in Lancashire, she developed a lifelong fascination with crime fiction, psychological thrillers, and atmospheric storytelling that continues to influence both her viewing habits and her writing.

She holds a BA (Hons) in Film Studies from Manchester Metropolitan University, where she focused on European cinema, screenwriting, and film criticism while contributing to student media publications.

Before joining CineCorner, Amelia contributed to several independent entertainment publications in the UK. She later worked as a freelance contributor for Collider and assisted with editorial proofreading for Deadline, helping prepare entertainment news and feature content for publication.

Covering the film industry gives her the chance to study storytelling and filmmaking from the inside while developing her own voice as a future filmmaker.
