'It's f—ing wild': a White Lotus season 4 star would not tell even George Clooney what happens
One star is promising The White Lotus’ wildest, most extravagant chapter yet — as season 4 adds to its cast.
Here we go again with The White Lotus, off to yet another exotic location, and by the sound of it, this time they're turning everything up to eleven. HBO's much-hyped anthology is back for a fourth season and if you thought Sicily or Thailand got messy, buckle in, because apparently Cannes is about to be thoroughly trashed.
The White Lotus has made a habit of casting familiar faces in every outing. Now, with Alexander Ludwig (yes, the bloke from Vikings and Hunger Games) set to check in, the cast list is so jammed you'd think it was the Cannes Film Festival itself. And, true to equally glitzy form, the secrecy around this season is total — unless, of course, someone manages to pry it out of Alexander Ludwig at a party. Which, apparently, even George Clooney tried and failed to do.
When interviewed by Variety, Ludwig said Clooney himself attempted to get spoilers out of him: 'He's going to have to wait like everyone else.'

Ludwig didn't shy away from teasing the scale: 'It's f—ing wild.'
Most details are, of course, locked down tighter than a five-star mini-bar. What we do know — or rather, what we don't know — is that nothing about the plot has slipped out and the guest list only got shakeups mid-production. Helena Bonham Carter was set for her own role, but she left after her character fell apart on the page, and in came Laura Dern to take over with a rewritten part. It's The White Lotus, after all. You sign up for the gig, you might not even make it to breakfast.

Release Date and What to Expect
Don't expect to wait yonks for the next check-in. HBO boss Casey Bloys says the fourth season could be knocking at our screens as soon as the first half of 2027. If that's true, it'll barely feel like a gap at all between Thai sun and French Riviera excess.
