Season 3 of Ginny & Georgia landed on Netflix on 5 June 2025 and put Georgia Miller (Brianne Howey) exactly where two seasons of scheming had been pointing: in a courtroom, on trial for the murder of Tom Fuller.

The finale resolves the trial, redraws half the show's relationships, and then drops one last bombshell in its final seconds. Here's the full picture.

The verdict

Not guilty. Georgia is acquitted — but not because the jury saw the truth. Ginny (Antonia Gentry) persuades her little brother Austin (Diesel La Torraca), the only witness, to lie on the stand and testify that he saw his birth father Gil (Aaron Ashmore) suffocate Tom. Gil is arrested for a murder Georgia actually committed, the case collapses, and the Miller family walks free.

The win costs plenty. Austin's relationship with his sister shifts for good, and Ginny is left wondering whether she's simply become her mother with better handwriting.

Georgia and Joe — finally?

Sort of. In the finale, Joe (Raymond Ablack) comes to the house and Georgia confesses everything — Tom, and the husband before him. He kisses her anyway. But Georgia, attempting a genuinely new version of herself, tells him she needs to stop jumping from man to man and focus on her kids. She also makes amends with her estranged husband, Mayor Paul (Scott Porter). Two decent men, zero commitments.

That maths matters enormously in about thirty seconds.

The final scene

Ginny watches Georgia drinking a glass of cow's milk — and freezes. Georgia only craves milk when she's pregnant. And since she recently slept with both Paul and Joe, season 3 closes on a paternity mystery wrapped in a pregnancy cliffhanger. Series creator Sarah Lampert told Today exactly the reaction she was after:

"I want them to sound like lunatics trying to explain what just happened," Lampert said in 2025.

Mission accomplished.

Where everyone else ends up

  • Ginny — freed her mother, compromised herself to do it, and ends the season staring down the family cycle she swore to break.
  • Austin — carried the trial on a lie, with his father now in custody because of it.
  • Marcus — Ginny's on-off love (Felix Mallard) ends the season with his drinking visibly worsening, their romance a question mark.
  • Gil — behind bars, furious, and unlikely to stay quiet.

Is that the end of the story? No — Netflix has already renewed Ginny & Georgia for season 4, which will have to untangle the baby, the lie, and whatever Gil does about both.
