Still hooked on MobLand? Season 3 is coming
Paramount+ has greenlit season 3 of its breakout crime drama hit, calling it early ahead of the second run.
If you've been following the bloody saga of the Harrigan family, here's some news for your diary: Paramount+ has officially renewed MobLand for a third season—before the second season has even hit our screens. Clearly, the streaming lot think they've got a heavy hitter on their hands. Can't say I blame them, really, given how much attention the show's been pulling in and the talent involved.
MobLand Season 2 premieres 18 September 2026, with the finale due 20 November.
The Family at War
Right, what can you expect from Season 2? More violence, more betrayals, and every bit of messy family drama that made the first run such fun to watch (if you're into power-hungry gangsters and the people suffering around them). The upcoming series picks up with the Harrigan crew scrambling to defend their criminal empire—and their already dodgy relationships are stretched to snapping point. Internal squabbling, new enemies circling, and nobody sure who they can trust on their own side. Standard Tuesday in MobLand, really.
Tom Hardy is back as Harry Da Souza—the family's loyal fixer who spends most of his time wading through the Harrigan's latest catastrophes. Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren return as Conrad and Maeve Harrigan, probably still refusing to retire quietly somewhere far from their enemies.
The theme this year? Absolute chaos. Rivals closing in, shifting alliances that could explode at any moment, and the violence creeping into every part of their personal lives. Mistakes will cost you dearly, and old loyalties mean less and less as the pressure ramps up. Can't say anyone's going to make it out unscathed.
Who's In, Who's Out?
- Leading trio Hardy, Brosnan, Mirren—of course.
- Returning: Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boon, Mandeep Dhillon, Teddie Allen, Emmett J. Scanlan, Jasmine Jobson, Johnny Flynn, Janet McTeer, Ophelia Lovibond, Toby Jones.
So, proper stacked cast if you ask me. That's a lot of talent for one show, and they're not shying off the big names. Season 2 runs for 10 episodes, with new instalments landing every Friday post-premiere. The last episode of the batch is slated for 20 November 2026, so block out that calendar if you're following along.
If you've missed it up until now, Season 1 is still on Paramount+ worldwide, so not too late for a catch-up. And with Season 3 greenlit, this dysfunctional dynasty will be sticking around for a while yet.
