Paradise has wrapped Season 3, and as the hit Hulu thriller readies its swansong, creator Dan Fogelman marked the moment on Instagram — but what did he say?
Right then, here's one for the Paradise die-hards: after months of filming (and, presumably, quite a bit of stress), creator Dan Fogelman has confirmed that season 3 has finally wrapped. That’s the last one — the end of the road for Hulu’s sci-fi-ish mystery that’s had us all guessing since the first dodgy isolation shot.
Finishing where it (fictionally) started, I’ll miss this show and the people who made it.
That’s Fogelman getting sentimental on Instagram, just after calling the final season a wrap. He also reckons he can't wait for viewers to see what’s in store, but naturally, he's not giving away any of the good stuff. Spoiler-phobia is alive and well.

If you’ve somehow missed the premise: Sterling K. Brown leads as Xavier Collins, a former Secret Service agent holed up in a mysterious, isolated community post-catastrophe. Across two seasons, Paradise has been a slow-burn thriller, piecing together what happened to the world (and, more annoyingly, who’s up to what in those bunkers).
Fogelman has been open about mapping out the show as a trilogy from the start, so this third season finally ties it all up. Expect no last-minute resurrection for a season 4. Paradise wraps here.
Season 3: What We Actually Know
- Season 3 picks up after the big blowup (literally) at the end of Season 2 — no spoilers, but let’s just say the bunker didn’t survive and Xavier’s left with even more questions than usual.
- The search for Alex goes on. Xavier’s quest for answers — and the truth about his community — is still a massive focus.
- There’s another major set piece this time: a new bunker, apparently hidden beneath Denver Airport. If you’re into conspiracy theories, you’ll love it.
- According to Fogelman (in an interview with Variety), Xavier will be forced into some kind of impossible choice about Alex and his family, with the whole season drilling into the fallout from that decision.
- And here’s where things get interesting — Fogelman’s also hinted (speaking to Collider) that the show’s tone will shift again. Not content being just a thriller or mystery, Season 3 is apparently going to mess about with genre a bit more, which, frankly, is classic Fogelman behaviour.

Filming might be finished, but Paradise is now stuck in post-production, so don’t start planning your binge just yet.
