Chris Pratt has delivered a clear answer on The Terminal List Season 3 — and he’s eyeing a future that stretches well past a single renewal.

Here we go again with The Terminal List chatter, and this time Chris Pratt is properly stirring the pot. If you thought Prime Video was going to wrap up James Reece's bloody adventures after a second season, think again – Pratt's out here making it sound like Prime wants to turn this thing into its own military action universe.

He dropped a bundle of hints and not-so-subtle comments during a radio chat on SiriusXM's Shade 45 just before season two landed, mostly directed at anyone nervous that the show might suddenly pack up. When host D-Stroy quizzed him about what comes next, Pratt didn’t play coy. According to him, there’s an absolute stack of options if Amazon wants to keep cashing in.

There's no shortage of source material.

That’s Pratt, pointing out (not inaccurately) that Jack Carr’s got eight James Reece novels out in the wild. In other words: if Amazon’s hungry, he’s got at least half a dozen potential seasons still in the locker. Officially, nothing’s been signed for a third series just yet, but Pratt made it clear it’s all riding on how well this current run does. He actually put it rather bluntly – a hit second season would make a renewal 'helpful', as far as convincing Amazon goes.

More Than Just One Season?

So, assuming the numbers behave, what's on the horizon besides the obvious season three? Pratt apparently fancies himself as the Dwayne Johnson of streaming action franchises, teasing ideas that stretch way beyond a basic renewal. He told ComingSoon in a separate bit of press that he sees James Reece going the distance – joking that, in the end, the character's "last mission is going to be he's going to eat a steak without his dentures in". Not exactly James Bond, but you get the point. 'Sorry, Amazon, this is for life.'

But it doesn't even stop with more Reece. Pratt's openly talking about spin-offs, mentioning titles like 'Cry Havoc' and a 'Dark Wolf' prequel – so, yes, the MCU approach is officially in the air. There's also curiosity about the Hastings family and their ranch, apparently worthy of a show of its own. Take that as you will.

For the record, Tom Hopper (he plays one of Reece’s squad) is already on board with future plots. He’s been campaigning for 'Savage Son', which is book three in Carr’s series. Hopper reckons that one, specifically, is worth making into telly. No one’s arguing with him just yet.

All eight episodes of season two are already available to stream on Prime Video.

This time round, the plot’s gone a bit international, sending Reece from Langley to Moscow and presumably racking up enough air miles for a holiday. If ratings stay robust, don’t be surprised when more seasons or a batch of spin-offs get thrown our way. Pratt’s keen, the source material’s there, Amazon likes things that trend – so, yes, it’s all to play for.
