Netflix is set to deliver 33 fresh Korean films and series in 2026, from romantic comedies to reality TV, with Blackpink’s Jisoo among the stars. Discover what’s coming for K-content fans worldwide.

Feeling a bit adrift now that Squid Game has wrapped up? There’s no need to dwell on the finale for long. Netflix is rolling out a bumper crop of Korean productions this year, promising a proper feast for anyone partial to a bit of K-drama or reality escapism. The streaming platform is expanding its Korean catalogue with 33 new titles, spanning everything from light-hearted romance to unscripted chaos.

Already up for grabs are a trio of romantic comedies: Can This Love Be Translated?, No Tail to Tell, and the undercover caper Undercover Miss Hong. If you’re after something unscripted, the fifth series of Single’s Inferno lands today, while February brings both the enigmatic thriller The Art of Sarah and the return of Agents of Mystery for a second outing. Not to be overlooked, Boyfriend on Demand is set to debut in the first quarter, with Blackpink’s Jisoo stepping into the shoes of a young woman whose life is upended by a peculiar ‘Boyfriend on Demand’ gadget, launching her into the unpredictable world of virtual romance.

First Quarter Highlights and Star Power

Alongside Jisoo’s much-anticipated turn, the early months of the year will see the arrival of the feature film Pavane and the reality series Ready or Not: Texas. Both are poised to add a bit of variety to the slate, catering to those who fancy a change from the usual fare. The first quarter is shaping up to be anything but dull, with genres and formats jostling for attention.

As the year unfolds, the schedule only gets busier. Spring and summer are set to deliver a second helping of Better Late Than Single and Bloodhounds, as well as new entries like Husbands in Action, If Wishes Could Kill, Jae-seok’s B&B; Rules!, Notes From the Last Row, Sold Out on You, Teach You a Lesson, The Wonderfools, and We Are All Trying Here. It’s a line-up that seems determined to keep viewers guessing, with a mix of familiar faces and fresh concepts.

Expanding the K-Content Universe

Netflix’s approach this year is less about playing it safe and more about pushing boundaries.

“We gave K-drama fans more of what they loved, but invested in differentiated new stories that took K-content fandom to the next level,”

explained Minyoung Kim, Netflix’s Vice President of Content for Asia.

“Even outside APAC, we have helped to ensure local authenticity sits at the heart of Netflix series.”

For those still catching up, all three series of Squid Game remain available to stream. Meanwhile, the new arrivals are set to offer a bit of everything—romance, intrigue, and a fair share of unscripted mayhem. Whether you’re after a quick laugh, a dose of suspense, or a reality show to binge, there’s little chance of running out of options any time soon.
