In Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed she plays Paula, a newly divorced New York fact checker who pays a charming cam boy to listen to her problems — then watches him get kidnapped live on camera. Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed streams exclusively on Apple TV — the service formerly known as Apple TV+. UK viewers can watch through the Apple TV app on iPhone, iPad, smart TVs, and consoles, or in a browser at tv.apple.com. The series premiered on 20 May 2026 with a double episode, and new instalments arrive weekly, landing around 8am UK time each Wednesday.

What's it actually about?
Paula's cam boy, Trevor, is beaten and snatched mid-session. Then come the ransom calls. The police insist it's a scam — until Trevor turns up dead, and Paula is pulled into the mystery while fighting a vicious custody battle with her ex-husband Karl. The cast around Maslany is stacked: Jake Johnson, Murray Bartlett, Dolly de Leon, Jon Michael Hill, and Brandon Flynn all feature. It's created by David J. Rosen and directed by David Gordon Green.
Critics have taken to it, too. The A.V. Club's Brian Tallerico called it, in his 2026 review, "well-paced, wonderfully performed, and unpredictable".
Ten episodes, half an hour each. Once the finale drops on 15 July, that's a single evening's binge — with murder, blackmail, and a children's pizza party included.
