Jenna Ortega has teased 'Wednesday' Season 3, hinting her character’s in for a change.

Time for another look at Wednesday, and yes, Jenna Ortega has started talking about season 3. She's been chatting to Esquire about what's ahead for Wednesday Addams and her crew now they’re facing their final year at Nevermore — so naturally the angst gets a bit sharper.

Here's how Jenna Ortega teased the next run, speaking to Esquire: "This season, especially because the kids are seniors in high school now, we're dealing with more confrontational feelings regarding family and what it means to be an adult and what you really see for your life. It's not really until you get to the precipice of adulthood that you start to realize, 'Oh, God, well, maybe I've got to have a plan."

If you thought season 2 was busy, apparently season 3 hits the classic coming-of-age wall. Wednesday and her mates are now in Year 13 — proper sixth form territory — and the script's not shying away from all the mess that brings. There’s supposedly more drama around family, growing up, and teetering on the edge of adulthood, as Ortega put it. Sounds like they'll all be forced to think about what comes next, not that she’s giving away any specifics yet.

No detail yet about who’s returning or if the uniform’s changed. Typical Netflix style: drip out a few themes and let the speculation write itself. So, yes, expect more slightly goth soul-searching and a bit less monster-of-the-week, by the sounds of it.
