How many episodes is From season 4 — and why was there a gap in the schedule?
Anyone keeping a Sunday-night appointment with Fromville this spring will have noticed one of those Sundays went missing. Here's the full picture on season 4's episode count — and what happened to 24 May.
The short answer
From season 4 has 10 episodes. It premiered on MGM+ on 19 April 2026 and ran weekly on Sundays at 9pm ET, finishing with the finale on 28 June — one week later than a straight run would suggest, because the season took a single week off at its halfway point.
The gap, explained
- Episodes 1–5 — weekly from 19 April to 17 May, opening with "The Arrival" and pausing on "What a Long Strange Trip It's Been".
- The missing Sunday — no episode on 24 May. MGM+ gave no formal explanation, but the date fell squarely on the Memorial Day holiday weekend in the US, when audiences travel and viewing dips; skipping holiday weekends is standard practice for weekly shows. Star Harold Perrineau confirmed the revised date on social media.
- Episodes 6–10 — resumed on 31 May with "The Heart Is a Lonely Hunter" and ran weekly to the finale on 28 June.
Conveniently for the schedulers, episode 5 also happened to be a natural midpoint — Jade's mushroom trip and Tabitha's breakthrough left the story at a clean pause.
What about the wait between seasons?
That gap was the bigger one. Season 3 ended in November 2024, and season 4 didn't arrive for roughly 17 months. Filming in Nova Scotia only wrapped in November 2025, and the show's effects-heavy episodes need a long post-production runway — the same reason previous seasons also arrived 17 to 19 months apart.
MGM+'s own tease for the season leaned into the wait:
"Who is the Man in Yellow, and what does he want?" the network asked in its official season 4 description.
Is there more coming?
Yes — and an ending. MGM+ renewed From for a fifth and final season in April 2026, expected to run 10 episodes and close out the story, in line with the creators' original five-season plan.
