With MCU, The Odyssey, and Dune 3 all landing in a stacked 2026, Zendaya is bracing for her biggest year yet—then planning to step out of the spotlight once the blitz ends.

So, if you’re a Zendaya fan (or, honestly, just someone who watches literally any movies or TV), brace yourself: she’s about to be literally everywhere in 2026. But unlike some stars who want to milk the moment forever, Zendaya’s already letting everyone know she’s planning to vanish right after her epic year wraps up.

Zendaya’s 2026: Non-Stop, Then Silence

She just laid it out in an interview: on the one hand, she’s grateful for all the love. On the other, she’s flat-out worried people will hit their Zendaya quota for life. To be fair, with her release schedule, that’s entirely possible. Here’s what she told Fandango:

"I just hope people don’t get sick of me, and I really appreciate everyone who supports any of the movies [and] supports my career in any kind of way. I’m deeply appreciative. I just hope you guys don’t get sick of me this year because I’ll tell you what, after this, I’m disappearing for a little bit. I’m going to have to go into hiding for just a little bit."

Not a tiny break—for all we know she’s planning to go full hermit. But after what’s coming, I don’t blame her.

This Is What Overexposure Looks Like

  • April 3: 'The Drama' opens, with Zendaya in the lead as Emma, a bookstore clerk about to marry Robert Pattinson’s character, Charlie. Wedding plans get messy when some secrets bubble up (because obviously).
  • April 12: Less than two weeks later, Zendaya’s back as Rue for the third season of 'Euphoria' on HBO. Emmy bait, again.
  • Later in the year: She takes on Greek legend territory in Christopher Nolan’s massive reimagining of 'The Odyssey.' That’s right: classic literature, Nolan-ized, with Zendaya front and center.
  • July 31: Swinging over to Marvel, Zendaya teams up with Tom Holland for 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day.' No break. Not even a breather.
  • Year End: Finishing off the marathon, it’s back to Arrakis for 'Dune 3.' Giant sandworms, blue eyes, all of it.

Why the Retreat?

So, yeah—she’s worried about crossing that line from “everybody loves you” to “oh my god, it’s her again.” And you know what? Total self-awareness move. Zendaya keeps saying she appreciates the support, but she’s made it clear she doesn’t want to wear out her welcome. As soon as this list of projects is out in the world, she’s planning to disappear for a while. I can’t blame her—even the biggest fans might need a breather after all that.

Bottom line: the next 12 months are going to be absolutely packed with high-profile Zendaya performances—and then, poof. She’s out. Enjoy it while you can, because after this year, Zendaya’s hitting the 'do not disturb' button in a big way.
