It’s just a rumour for now – Marvel haven’t said a peep officially, which is also true of every other casting related to this reboot. In fact, no actor has been confirmed by the studio for any role in the new film.
Which X-Men Baddie Is It, Then?
Now, this is where things get convoluted. Previously, the same scooper suggested that Wagner Moura (Narcos, The Specialist, generally intense bloke) was Marvel’s top pick for Mister Sinister. If Adam Driver really is onboard as the main villain instead, it probably means one of a few things:
