Who's still together from Better Late Than Single? Netflix rushed out a reunion special five days after the finale to settle it
Better Late Than Single has a hook no other dating show can copy: every contestant is a 모태솔로, a lifelong single who has never once been in a relationship. Season 2 ended on July 28, 2026, with two couples leaving the Jeju retreat hand in hand. Five days later, Netflix dropped a six-episode reunion called After Service.

Where all four finale pairings ended up
- Choi Hyuk-joon & Choi Hyun-seo (season 2) — the season's most argued-over pairing. They never dated once filming stopped. Hyun-seo said in After Service that she'd assumed his final choice was made for the cameras and reached out first afterward; Hyuk-joon called that the biggest misunderstanding between them.
- Lee Jin-woo & Lee Han-ju (season 2) — a late-breaking match in episodes 9 and 10. They kept texting, Jin-woo asked to date, Han-ju said no.
- Ha Jeong-mok & Park Ji-yeon (season 1) — Jeong-mok confirmed the split himself in an Instagram post on August 5, 2025, about a week after the finale aired.
- Kang Ji-su & Kim Seung-li (season 1) — also nothing, though this one took until late August 2025 to surface.
Ji-su settled her half of it on the YouTube series Jung Kyu-min's Better Late Than Single Talk in August 2025, when the host asked whether they'd become a real couple:
"We didn't end up dating after the show."
The one person who actually found someone
Noh Jae-yun left season 1 without a match after 27 relationship-free years, then met someone roughly 10 months later, off camera and off the show entirely. They're still together. Netflix brought him back in After Service as the resident dating expert, which is either good casting or a very pointed joke.
Why Netflix moved this fast
Season 1 shipped without any where-are-they-now update at all. The producers told iMBC on July 31, 2025 that filming had wrapped 10 months earlier and the cast should decide for themselves when to say anything. Fans then learned about the Jeong-mok breakup from an Instagram post five days after that.
After Service is the fix, and it makes Better Late Than Single the third Korean Netflix reality format to get a reunion spinoff, after Single's Inferno and Physical: Welcome to Mongolia.
For the record: the reunion did generate fresh numbers-exchanging between the two casts, which means the next round of "are they still together" questions is already in the pipeline. Track record so far says don't bet on it.
