Tyler Perry now has four shows running on Paramount+ after two quiet renewals

Here we are again, talking about Tyler Perry and his now-expanding little TV empire—this time with some new chapter announcements that nearly got swept under the radar. If you’ve been keeping up with his ever-growing slate, you’ll know it’s getting a tad difficult to remember what’s moved where since BET+ vanished and got folded into Paramount+.

Perry Projects, Now with Fresh Orders

Paramount+ has now made it official: both Divorced Sistas and Zatima are coming back. It’s not just the sort of nothingburger renewal you get halfway through a season—both were genuinely up in the air until just now. The two shows used to call BET+ home before the merger, but now they’re parked comfortably on Paramount+ with confirmed new runs. Any nerves fans had can finally settle.

Paramount+ will bring Divorced Sistas back for Season 3, and Zatima for Season 6; both will be made up of 16 episodes split into two batches of eight.

For context, Zatima’s previous seasons were a bit more bloated—think 20 episodes, usually chopped up into 10-episode blocks. So the new format trims things a bit, though still gives you plenty to binge if you’re that way inclined.

Who’s Who, What’s What

For those struggling to keep the Perryverse straight: Divorced Sistas revolves round Rasheda, Geneva, Naomi, Tiffany, and Bridgette, all of whom have to deal with the fallout from one unfortunate confession. The series does what it says on the tin—forced reckonings, awkward group chats, the lot. Cast-wise, Perry’s there as creator, director, writer, and executive producer, but you’ll also recognise faces like LeToya Luckett, Khadeen Indréa, Porscha Coleman, and Briana Price—plus DeVon Franklin, Ronreaco Lee, and Robert Christopher Riley.

Zatima, for its part, follows Zac and Fatima as they attempt to keep family and sanity intact. DeVale Ellis and Crystal Reneé Hayslett headline, joined by Nzinga Imani, Remington Hoffman, Cameron Fuller, and Guyviaud Joseph. Like with most of his projects, Perry’s keeping a hand on everything, credited as both creator and executive producer.

Paramount+ Goes All-In on Perry

Worth noting, Perry’s partnership with Paramount+ seems stronger than ever. Not only are the two renewed series landing later this year, but two other Perry shows have just had premieres: All the Queen’s Men dropped its fifth season on 10 June 2026, and Ruthless followed with its sixth season on 30 June 2026. This is starting to look like a mini-network within a network, frankly.
