Shrinking season 4 adds another Star Wars actor to Harrison Ford’s cast, this time the voice of a Jedi
Harrison Ford’s Apple TV show Shrinking has recruited another Star Wars alum for season 4, slipping a familiar face into the ensemble — no lightsabers required.
It seems Harrison Ford is getting yet another familiar face from a galaxy far, far away for his Apple TV outing. Shrinking, which has already lined up its fourth season for early 2026, is mixing up its ensemble with a fresh batch of actors, including a couple of Star Wars neighbours—and one in particular that might not be on your radar.

Who's New, Who's Back
The series has snagged Judith Light, known for her storied career on stage and telly (and, oddly enough, a cameo in the animated Star Wars universe). She'll be turning up in a recurring role, though—standard for Apple—actual character details are locked up tighter than a lightsaber in a Sith lord's desk.

Light joins other newcomers: Karen Gillan—yes, Nebula herself—and Christian Slater, another Star Wars alum if you count his quick bit in Solo. Stick them in a room with the series regulars: Ford, Jason Segel, Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell, and Ted McGinley. That's a fairly packed cast for a show that began life as Ford's comic foray into streaming, and hasn't exactly shrunk its ambitions as it's gone on.
If you were after specific clues about what the fourth season will actually cover, you're out of luck for now. Bill Lawrence, the show's creator, has only teased that there'll be a time jump and a "completely new storyline". Beyond that, it's anyone's guess—possibly, even, the writers'.
The Star Wars Bit
Judith Light isn't a name you'd immediately associate with Wookiees or lightsabers, but she did lend her voice to the Star Wars: Visions animated anthology, specifically Vol. 3. There, she played Gleenu, a bodyguard and former Jedi—basically, one of those mysterious older types with more going on than they let on. In typical fashion, Light kept up her streak of popping up in voice work wherever you least expect, with prior credits in Kite Man: Hell Yeah!, Penn Zero: Part-Time Hero, Joseph: King of Dreams, and more. It's not exactly "Mace Windu Returns", but there's your Star Wars connection.
Outside the voice booth, Light's the real deal—two Tonys, a Primetime Emmy, and a career spanning everything from Who's the Boss? and Ugly Betty to The Menu and Poker Face. She's even got something else in the works alongside Cameron Diaz and Stephen Merchant, which is in post-production now, title under wraps. Nice to see a show like Shrinking still bringing in proper heavyweights for what started as a low-key dramedy.
