Rhea Seehorn assures fans that Pluribus will not be kept waiting for its second series, as Vince Gilligan and the creative team are already hard at work. New episodes, however, are not expected until next year.

Rhea Seehorn, fresh from her Golden Globe triumph for her portrayal of Carol Sturka, has offered a glimmer of hope to those eagerly awaiting the next instalment of Pluribus. The acclaimed Apple TV Plus drama, which has quickly found its audience, is set to continue, though patience will be required before viewers can return to its world.

Speaking after her awards win, Seehorn revealed that the show's creator, Vince Gilligan, is wasting no time. The team has already reconvened in the writers' room, determined not to leave fans in limbo.

"I know he wants us to go as soon as possible. He's not playing any kind of game to make people wait for this. But he wants to craft the show with all the care for his fans and the people following this story that he can. So we'll get back as fast as we can,"

she explained, making it clear that the intention is to move forward at pace, without sacrificing the quality that has defined the series so far.

Writers' Room Reopens

Despite the enthusiasm, the process is still in its early days. Filming for the new series has yet to commence, and the scripts are only just beginning to take shape. Gilligan himself, speaking last month, cautioned that the gap between series would not be a short one.

"It's going to be a while between seasons,"

he admitted, adding that such delays are simply part and parcel of the production process.

Fans hoping for a swift turnaround may be disappointed, but the creative team’s commitment to delivering a meticulously crafted story remains unwavering. The writers are back at their desks, piecing together the next chapter, but the cameras will not roll until the scripts are ready to meet the high expectations set by the first series.

Anticipation Builds for Next Year

With the writing phase only just underway, it is highly unlikely that new episodes will grace screens before the following year. The production schedule, still in its infancy, means that audiences will have to bide their time. Yet, the promise of a return, coupled with the assurance that the wait will not be unnecessarily prolonged, offers some consolation.

For now, the cast and crew are focused on ensuring that when Pluribus does return, it will do so with the same attention to detail and narrative depth that has already won it a devoted following. As Seehorn and Gilligan rally their team, viewers can rest assured that the next series is firmly on the horizon—even if it remains just out of reach for the moment.
