Reacher star Alan Ritchson blasts Trump as a ‘b—’ after Epstein files unsealed

Just when you thought the Reacher star couldn't get any more outspoken, Alan Ritchson dropped onto Josh Horowitz's Happy Sad Confused podcast and properly let rip about the never-ending drama over the elusive Jeffrey Epstein files—plus, he didn't mind dragging Donald Trump into the mix. Ritchson Doesn't Hold Back

It all kicked off when Ritchson was asked if actors these days feel too nervous to speak their minds, suggesting Hollywood types walk on eggshells to keep studios sweet. Ritchson, never one for subtlety, pointed out he's earned a bit of a reputation but doubled down:

"People, I think, are a little bit afraid of me because they're like, 'He's a loose cannon.' And I'm not. I'm just saying the s--- that everybody should say if they give a s--- about humanity."

He wasn't done, either. Ritchson challenged his fellow actors to open up, not play it safe, and actually use their collective reach for something:

"Everybody else, speak up. You are all feeling the same thing, you idiots. Get loud and stop cowtowing to the wrong people. Stop bowing down to people that have power. You got power, too. The power in numbers."

He admitted he sometimes muzzles himself—though you'd be forgiven for wondering when that supposedly happens—and mentioned his recent chat with Dax Shepard before veering hard into the Epstein territory.

The Epstein Files and Trump

This is where things escalate. Ritchson—the picture of frustration—ranted about the Epstein files still being kept from the public, swearing liberally and apologising for it (with a typically odd justification: he's a Christian, but the scandal is infuriating enough to make him swear anyway). According to him, if he had control, the files would be out in two seconds—envelope, secrets, all of it. The repeated theme: he's baffled and disgusted that nothing seems to be happening, with powerful people getting away with it. He urged, why aren't people angrier? Why isn't this resolved? Why, especially, are those with political power apparently untouched?

That's right—cue a dig at Donald Trump. Ritchson couldn't resist referencing Trump's access to major state secrets, linking it to the Epstein affair with classic exasperation. In his view, Trump's continued prominence and security clearance are beyond explanation. Jail was mentioned—twice—for those in the mix.
