Prime Video finally put a date on Helluva Boss season 3: Part 1 drops October 14, 2026, revealed at the streamer’s first Annecy Studio Focus panel and ending months of fan speculation about the Hazbin Hotel spin-off.

If you've been wondering when the 'Helluva Boss' gang would return with more demon-on-earth murder shenanigans, Prime Video has finally stopped playing coy about Season 3. After months of online speculation (and some fans getting genuinely antsy), the streamer made it official during its Annecy Studio Focus Panel: 'Helluva Boss' Season 3, Part 1 lands on 14 October 2026. Yes, that's still a ways off, but at least we've got a concrete date to circle.

What's New This Season?

Unlike the first two series—which, frankly, felt like a bit of a wild west over on YouTube—this new one will be produced entirely under Amazon's umbrella. It's all gone a bit grown-up and professional, at least in terms of distribution. To sweeten the interminable wait, Prime Video also debuted a first-look clip, and it’s exactly the sort of fever dream you’d expect. So, the new snippet gives us Stolas living out a cringe-inducing daydream where he and Blitzø are recast as a timid prince and a suave baron, respectively. It sounds like Mills & Boon for goths, and predictably unravels as Stolas’s own kidnapping trauma barges into the fantasy, thanks to that cowboy menace Striker. It’s a proper carousel between Stolas's escapism and the harsher reality: over in the real world, Blitzø sounds off to Moxxie on the phone while Millie calls in sick—her surprise pregnancy at the end of Season 2 getting a direct nod.

The Details: Release, Structure, and What’s Next

Season 3 is stretching to 15 episodes, split neatly into two parts. The front half launches in 2026, with the back-end pencilled in for 2027. No surprises: Prime Video has already said there will be a Season 4, but that’ll be the final curtain, and you can expect a similar episode count there as well. Now that both 'Helluva Boss' and its big sister series 'Hazbin Hotel' have settled in under Amazon's roof, we’re being promised more crossovers. As you’d expect, the studio aren’t giving much away about how those connections will actually play out, so fans will have to keep guessing.

Behind the Demonic Mayhem

Created by Vivienne Medrano (still running the ship solo at the top), 'Helluva Boss' follows the Immediate Murder Professionals: essentially a squad of infernal contract killers carrying out hits on humans for their devilish clientele. The humour’s dark, the relationships are messier than a Soho flatshare, and they even manage to squeeze in a bit of self-help amidst the carnage.
  • Voice cast: Brandon Rogers, Richard Horvitz, Vivian Williams, Erica Lindbeck, Bryce Pinkham, Alex Brightman, James Monroe Iglehart, Cristina Vee, Georgie Leahy, Rochelle Diamante, Morgana Ignis
  • Showrunners/Execs: Vivienne Medrano, Dave Wilson, Melissa Wolfe
  • Streaming home: Prime Video (first season fully produced in-house)
  • Spin-off: 'Hazbin Hotel'
  • Episodes this season: 15 (split, back half coming a year later)
  • Already greenlit for: Season 4 (final)
One eye-opening bit from the new preview: Medrano and her team aren’t at all shy about doubling down on unresolved trauma and telenovela-style backstories, so expect even more swinging between feverish fantasy and abrupt reality.
