Luke Hemsworth says a Hemsworth brothers team-up isn’t off the table — but only if the right project comes along. With Beast on the way, the eldest brother is open to joining forces with Chris and Liam when the script makes sense.

So, it turns out even being part of Australia’s most famous acting family doesn’t make collaborating easy. Luke Hemsworth—the (unfortunately) least-magically-buff Hemsworth brother—dropped a few thoughts recently about maybe joining forces with his siblings Chris and Liam for a project. Spoiler: It’s more complicated than just texting “Let’s make a movie?”

What Are the Hemsworths Actually Waiting For?

Talking with E! News, Luke admitted he’d actually love to work with his brothers. But there’s a big catch: the right movie, and the impossible logistics of squeezing three busy careers onto one call sheet.

Here’s how Luke put it:

"I would love to do something… And we’ve talked about it a lot. I think we all just need to find the right project."

So, yes, the Hemsworths have thought about it. Yes, they’ve talked about it—a lot, apparently. But it’s not just about waiting for the right script to land on their doorstep. There’s the scheduling nightmare. Chris (you know, the one with the hammer and the box office juggernaut schedule) is booked solid for years. Luke joked, "We need to get Chris booked in about two years in advance." You can’t exactly fit a family indie film between Marvel green screens and endless press tours.

The Ball’s in Hollywood’s Court

Luke’s not ruling anything out though. He basically invited the world’s screenwriters to pitch them:

"If anyone wants to write something, then please, please come and see us."

Translation: If you’ve got a killer script that needs three tall, blue-eyed Australians, now’s your chance.

Some Minor Hemsworth Family Business

  • Luke’s next film is called Beast. It’s supposed to hit theaters April 10, 2026. Mark your calendars and prepare for a 24-month waiting period.
  • Luke’s kids apparently caught the acting bug (shocking absolutely no one with those genes), but he’s been trying to talk them out of joining the family business. He wants them to get more “life experience” first. Dad priorities.

The bottom line: we might eventually get Hemsworth × 3 on screen, if the universe aligns, someone brings them the right story, and Chris can squeeze in some free time before the next Marvel reboot.
