The pods have barely cooled from series 3 — which streamed from 19 to 30 August 2026 — and CPL Productions is already recruiting the next batch. Netflix confirmed the show is renewed through season 4, and the official application form is live. Here's how the whole thing works, from typing your name to standing at an altar.
Who can apply
The bar to entry is lower than the show's drama suggests:
- Aged 18 or over — no upper limit, though cast ages have run 26 to 37.
- Based in the UK or Ireland — with the right to reside there.
- Genuinely single — and, per the format, genuinely prepared to marry a stranger within weeks.
- In possession of a valid passport — the honeymoons happen abroad.
The form itself
The official application sits at loveisblindukcasting.com (also reachable via shortaudition.com/loveisblinduk and CPL Productions' take-part page), and TV Guide clocked it at roughly two minutes to complete. It asks for your name, gender, and date of birth; confirmation you live in the UK or have the right to; whether you've been married before; whether you've been on television before; whether you hold a passport — and your Instagram handle, so the team can look you up.
Two minutes of typing, one Instagram handle, and the rest is in the casting team's hands. Your grid is doing more work than the form is.
The deadline situation
Applications were reported as open until 31 August 2026, but the small print reserves CPL's right to extend or close the window at any time — and Netflix was still pointing singles at the form in early September 2026, so the door hasn't shut. The sensible read: apply now rather than parse the terms and conditions.
What the casting team actually wants
Casting executive Cat Spooner has been unusually open about the criteria. Regional voices and British humour, she says, are what made the UK version land. Authenticity matters — people coming for genuine reasons rather than followers — and so does the capacity to talk about feelings on camera.
"The process encourages you to really dig deep, open up, and be vulnerable," Spooner told StarNow in 2025 — and the non-negotiable is genuinely wanting to get married.
What happens if you're picked
The format hasn't changed since 2024: 30 singles — 15 men, 15 women — spend around ten days speed-dating through a wall, with engagements happening sight unseen. Then comes the reveal, a honeymoon, moving in together, and a wedding, all inside roughly 35 to 40 days of filming. Matt and Emma Willis host. Series 4 films in the coming months and, going by the pattern — 7 August 2024, 13 August 2025, 19 August 2026 — should reach Netflix in late summer 2027.
For the record: series 1 produced eleven engagements, and the broadcast only had room for seven of them. The pods work fine. It's everything after the pods that gets complicated.
