Don't Miss The Curse of Oak Island Season 13 Episode 22: Release Date, Time, and Where to Watch
After a tantalizing Money Pit breakthrough hinted at fresh links to the centuries-old enigma, The Curse of Oak Island Season 13 Episode 22 is almost here—get the release time and where to watch.
Alright, Oak Island fans – it is that time of the week again. If you are still tracking every shovel of dirt the Lagina brothers move, here is what you need to know about The Curse of Oak Island Season 13, Episode 22. Yes, they are still hunting, yes, there are still mysterious clues (mostly in mud), and yes, the story just got a little wilder.
What just happened?
In last week’s episode, the crew stumbled on something in the infamous Money Pit – you know, that hole where everyone expects to find either pirate gold or at least an old shoe by now – and this time they found evidence that weirdly points toward the Knights Templar. I know, ancient conspiracies and reality TV: a match made in History Channel heaven.
Episode 22 is called 'Road Trip', and apparently, the team is about to drop some new finds connected to that rock-and-sand road buried in the swamp (if you are not caught up, yes, an actual road in a swamp is involved now – just roll with it). And, because Oak Island’s writers know how to tease, they will have another Money Pit discovery that is supposed to push the big mystery even further.
Here’s the curveball: the clues are now suggesting that whatever the secret of Oak Island is, the real answer could be sitting 2,000 miles away. If they start looking in, say, New Mexico, I would not be shocked.
When and how to watch
- Release date: Sunday, April 14
- Release time: 6 PM PT / 9 PM ET
- Where to watch: The History Channel (that is basic cable or whatever streaming service in your area that has it; History falls under A+E Global Media)
So what exactly is Oak Island?
In case you are new here (or you have just blocked out the hype), 'The Curse of Oak Island' is all about brothers Marty and Rick Lagina, who have dedicated years of their lives (and millions of the network’s dollars) to hunting for some kind of legendary treasure supposedly hidden on Oak Island. The show is half real-life treasure hunt, half digger’s soap opera – and yes, theories about Templars, Freemasons, and maybe aliens do fly around. Every week, they team up with local specialists, debate wild leads, and occasionally dig up a nail that is probably from somebody’s garage.
'Follow brothers Marty and Rick Lagina through their effort to find the speculated – and as of yet undiscovered – buried treasure believed to have been concealed through extraordinary means on Oak Island.'
If you are in it for the lore, the weird history, or just to see how many stone roads a swamp can hide, that new episode drops Sunday night.
