Apple TV+'s London-set thriller came back this spring with a case that could hardly be more different from its first — and the full run is now streaming. Sixteen episodes exist across two seasons, from the anonymous phone call that started it all to the finale that landed on 10 June 2026. Here's the complete guide.

Season 1 (2024): the Errol Mathis case

The first season is a tug of war. DS June Lenker (Cush Jumbo) receives an anonymous 999 call suggesting Errol Mathis has spent years in prison for a murder — of his girlfriend, Adelaide Burrowes — that he didn't commit. Standing in her way is DCI Daniel Hegarty (Peter Capaldi), the well-connected veteran who secured the conviction. Eight episodes, released weekly from 10 January to 21 February 2024:

  • 1. "Emergency Caller" (10 January) — the call that starts everything, and June's first look at the old case.
  • 2. "Two Calls" (10 January) — June takes her doubts to Hegarty, who closes the door in her face.
  • 3. "Kid in the Park" (17 January) — the fight turns personal as June's own family is dragged into the fallout.
  • 4. "Protected" (24 January) — Hegarty's old guard closes ranks, and June learns how far his reach extends.
  • 5. "Possession with Intent" (31 January) — the campaign against June escalates, putting her career on the line.
  • 6. "Beehive" (7 February) — the hunt for the anonymous caller gathers pace.
  • 7. "The Sixty-Twos" (14 February) — the trail leads towards a violent far-right gang and the man June believes really killed Adelaide.
  • 8. "Carla" (21 February) — the caller is found, the truth about Errol's confession comes out, and the conviction collapses. Errol walks free.

Season 2 (2026): the bomb plot

Season 2 flips the format from an old case to a live one. When a young man is stabbed to death at a political rally — with June the senior officer at the scene, carrying the guilt for it — she and Hegarty are forced into an uneasy alliance. The murder hunt spirals into an undercover operation to stop a far-right bomb plot in the heart of London.

The eight episodes, opening with "Is It Him?", were released weekly every Wednesday from 22 April 2026, with the finale on 10 June 2026.

Capaldi and Jumbo return alongside Shaun Dooley, Stephen Campbell Moore, and Charlie Creed-Miles, with newcomers including Dustin Demri-Burns, Luca Pasqualino, Luther Ford, Lyndsey Marshal, and Peter Sullivan. Both seasons hold a 90% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Total watch time

Sixteen episodes at roughly 43 to 53 minutes each. Call it about thirteen hours for the lot — a comfortable two-weekend binge.

Will there be a season 3?

No word yet. Season 1's renewal took seven months to confirm and the new season more than two years to arrive, so patience is part of the deal. Given how season 2 was received, the wait may well be worth starting now.
