Craving a fresh heist? Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan’s team-up drops release date
Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan’s new heist show just nabbed its first teaser, with Apple TV also locking in when it lands.
Here we go, another ambitious heist on telly, this time with Anthony Mackie and Jamie Dornan front and centre. Apple TV+ has just dropped the first teaser for 12 12 12, serving up the premiere date and a glimpse of the A-listers tangled up in European criminal chaos. If you like clever timelines and big vaults in Switzerland, this might be right up your alley.
12 12 12 debuts globally on 13 November 2026, with two episodes dropping straight out the gate.
The premise: three timelines, one risky job
At the heart of 12 12 12 you’ve got Mackie as a disgraced FBI agent and Dornan as a career American criminal. These two find themselves playing a dangerous game of cat and mouse across Europe, and as you'd expect, it all comes crashing together over a particularly audacious vault robbery deep under the streets of Zurich. If that setup’s not enough to keep you watching, the narrative’s split into three timelines: the 12 months leading up to the big job, the frantic 12 hours when everything goes down, and the messy 12 days that follow.
- Cast: Anthony Mackie, Jamie Dornan, Jack Kesy, Agathe Rousselle, Sallie Harmsen, Jose Garcia, Kali Reis, Ólafur Darri Ólafsson, and Patrick Fabian
No shortage of talent there, and the tellers behind the camera aren’t new to this either. Jim Keeble and Dudi Appleton cooked up the show and are pretty hands-on as executive producers, also penning four of the scripts themselves. Samantha Corbin-Miller, Joe Murtagh, and Jamie Carragher round out the writing team, and Kari Skogland (who did a stint on The Falcon and the Winter Soldier for Marvel) is directing several episodes, including the opener. She’s wearing her executive producer hat too, alongside Mackie, Dornan, and a crowd of others connected to Skydance, Anonymous Content, and Apple.
Release schedule
After the two-episode kickoff on 13 November 2026, they’re sticking to the classic weekly rollout, with new chapters hitting Apple TV+ every Friday. The last of the eight episodes lands on 25 December 2026, so if you want a bit of high-stakes crime with your Christmas pudding, you know where to look.
