Clear Your Schedule: Every Must-Watch TV Show Streaming in May 2026
May 2026’s TV lineup is stacked: Spider-Noir swings into action while the next Yellowstone Universe chapter saddles up across the biggest platforms.
May is shaping up to be one of those months where your TV queue will either thank you or absolutely drown you. A couple of heavy hitters (and a few under-the-radar oddballs) are about to hit pretty much every major streaming service, so if you’re hunting for your next favorite binge, or just trying to keep up with what the internet will be shouting about, here’s what’s coming and when.
What’s New and What’s Unmissable
Let’s start with the obvious: Prime Video is rolling out Spider-Noir, their big swing at the Spider-Verse, but with a moody, 1930s spin. If you ever wondered what Spider-Man would look like in a trench coat with a cigarette in the rain, well, this is that show.
Over on Paramount+, Yellowstone fans get their next fix with Dutton Ranch. If you thought Taylor Sheridan was running out of westerns to milk, apparently you were wrong. There’s definitely no sign of this family drama/survivalist cowboy saga slowing down.
Netflix isn’t lying low either. The Duffer Brothers (yep, the Stranger Things guys) are producing a limited series called The Boroughs. Considering their track record for sci-fi meets small-town weirdness, this one’s worth keeping on your radar. As if that wasn’t enough, one of the creators of Ozark is back—with a new crime thriller, M.I.A., over on Peacock. Odds are good some folks will wander into this expecting a missing persons case and end up deep in money laundering (again).
Point is: there are some big names and plenty of potential hidden gems this May.

The Streamer Free-For-All
There’s no shortage of new stuff, but honestly, half the fun (and pain) is sorting the gold from the filler. Between the high-profile franchise extensions and those oddball, possibly brilliant limited series, you might just find yourself ignoring the outside world until June.
Or, as a wise person once said: 'Finding your next TV obsession is tough, but at least you’ll have choices.' Maybe too many.
