Accio marathon: All 11 Wizarding World films—every Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts title—are now streaming free after a fresh Warner Bros. Discovery deal with a fast-rising platform. Here’s how to binge the lot without spending a sickle.

If you’re one of those people who can’t help but rewatch the Harry Potter films every year (or three times a year, I’m not judging), there’s a bit of news that might just save you a few quid—no dark magic required. For the first time, every single Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts film is up for grabs on a major streaming platform in the UK, and you don’t have to spend a penn—erm, pence.

All 11 Wizarding World Films—Free to Stream

ITVX, in case you’ve not been paying attention to streaming trends, has just bagged itself a neat little deal with Warner Bros. Discovery. The result? You can now binge every Potter film—from the first awkward trip to Hogwarts with Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, and Rupert Grint, all the way through to the slightly less magical (in my humble opinion) Fantastic Beasts prequels starring Eddie Redmayne and a rotating cast of questionable villains.

That’s eight Potter films and all three Fantastic Beasts entries, for a grand total of 11 movies. ITVX has got the lot, and apparently they’re not gatekeeping either: anyone can watch these for the summer, and apparently ‘beyond’—though how long that actually means is under wraps.

'We are extremely proud to make these iconic British films available for both old and new fans to stream, for free, during the summer holidays and beyond.'

That was Darren Nartey, ITV’s content acquisitions boss, sounding rather chuffed with himself. And fair enough, this is quite a coup for ITVX, which has already grown nearly 60% over the last four years and is now boasting a rather chunky 16.5 million monthly active users.

In practice, that means the films are streamable right now online, and will also show up periodically on good old-fashioned TV—specifically ITV1 and ITV2. If you’re still relying on your parents’ telly for a bit of comfort viewing, you’re covered.

Why ITVX Is Making This Play

Let’s be honest, sticking all 11 Wizarding World films on your streaming service is a no-brainer if you want to keep your audience numbers growing. Harry Potter isn’t just a nostalgia-fest for millennials; the franchise keeps dragging in fresh fans, a full two decades after the books ended. ITVX presumably expects a fair few new sign-ups and returning eyeballs keen for a marathon.

  • Eight Harry Potter films – Daniel Radcliffe, Emma Watson, Rupert Grint starring
  • Three Fantastic Beasts films – Eddie Redmayne’s magical wildlife tour
  • ITVX exclusive streaming – for an unspecified time
  • Simultaneous TV broadcasts – ITV1 and ITV2

A Bit of Potter on the Horizon, Too

And if you’re the sort who likes a long-term plan, the Harry Potter universe is far from done haunting everyone’s screens. HBO Max is cooking up a new TV adaptation, intending to map out all of Rowling’s books across seven seasons. The new cast: Dominic McLaughlin steps in as Harry, with Alastair Stout as Ron and Arabella Stanton as Hermione. If everything runs to schedule, the small-screen reboot lands in 2027.
