Season 2 ran on Netflix from July 7 to July 28, 2026 — ten episodes, twelve first-timers, one retreat on Jeju Island, and the returning Cupid panel of Seo In-guk, Kang Han-na, Lee Eun-ji, and Car, the Garden. The finale sent two couples home together.

Then the six-episode reunion, Better Late Than Single: After Service, landed on August 1 and undid most of it.

Neither final couple is dating

Hyuk-joon picked Hyun-seo after eight episodes of visible indecision, and she picked him back. Off camera, it fell apart over what both of them describe as a misread. Hyun-seo believed his final choice was a face-saving move for the audience and didn't want to chase someone who didn't value her; Hyuk-joon says that's the opposite of what happened. The reunion put them in a room together and let them work it out on tape, at which point Hyun-seo said things might have gone differently if they'd talked sooner.

Jin-woo and Han-ju were the surprise pairing — he wasn't even on her radar as a mutual until episodes 9 and 10. They stayed in contact afterward. Jin-woo texted asking to date properly, Han-ju declined, and he spent several days chewing on it before concluding it followed from their conversations after the show.

What the rest of the cast is doing

  • Kim Soo-hyun, Ahn Seung-hyun, and Kim Tae-hoon — the season's love triangle got its own reckoning in the reunion's truth game.
  • Yoon Jung-yun — matched with someone through a dating app and, per the reunion, got attached fast.
  • Ahn Seung-hyun — reportedly hit it off with season 1's Kang Ji-su on a blind date.
  • Kim Jae-seo — met season 1's Yi Do, then asked to continue off camera.
  • Han Su-ji — left her number with season 1's Kim Seung-li.

The crossover blind dates were the reunion's actual selling point: season 2's singles sitting across from season 1's singles, all of them still working through their first attempts at any of this. Season 1's Noh Jae-yun turned up to deliver a lecture on dating, having found a partner about 10 months after his own season wrapped.

Has anyone confirmed a relationship since?

No. As of late August 2026, nobody from the season 2 cast has publicly announced a relationship with anyone else from the cast. The producers' stated position, dating back to season 1, is that contestants decide for themselves when to share that information, which in practice means the updates arrive via Instagram whenever they arrive.

The show's own framing is worth noting: the producers have described season 1 as closer to an educational program and season 2 as a real dating show. Two seasons, four couples, four non-starters. The curriculum may need revising.
